Beauty spring-cleaning

Spring’s almost here so it’s time to make some choices in your vanity case! What to keep? What to throw away? What to renew? Here are some tips from a Parisian Girl.

Beauty products are like food: there’s a “best before” date. Spring is at the corner so it’s the perfect time to make some space and get rid of what’s too old.

To know what to keep and what to throw away, the first step is called “common sense”. If you don’t remember when you buy it, if it smells funny or if it looks weird>>> garbage. Don’t even think twice. Would you like to eat something past of date? Non. Same for beauty products.

Then, you need to know how long your products last. It’s not always written on the package, so keep that list with you, always.
– Mascara: 3 to 6 months
– Foundation: 6 months
– Concealer: 6 months
– Eyeshadow/Blush: 1 year
– Liquid eyeliner: 6 months
– Lipstick: 1 year
– Moisturizer/Skin care: 1 year
– Nail polish: 2 years

How’s your vanity case look like now? Half empty? Right. Now here’s my selection of what you should buy to be ready for spring.
